Rendition In Favor Of Books The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton (The Return of Sherlock Holmes, #7)

This is a thrilling tale of wits between Sherlock Holmes and a master blackmailer formerly known as Charles Augustus Milverton. Considering that most of Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories contain detective work, this one has no detecting per se… It is still an amazing story, and definitely a must-read for fans of Sherlock.

Write-Up Containing Books The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton (The Return of Sherlock Holmes, #7)
I love everything about this. The villain is as good as Moriarty, and has a Varys like business in which he intercepts people's correspondence and trades their secrets (for money instead of power). And the humor! Sherlock calls him THE WORST™, tries to snatch away the letters from him, gets fake engaged to one of the ladies in the guy's household, whines about the courtship and "I have always had an idea that I would have made a highly efficient criminal."Sherlock and Watson going for a heist,

In which the villain Charles Augustus Milverton is as dangerous as Prof. Moriarty; and is completely oblivious of fair play.

The only time so far that Holmes refused to help the police.

Not that good of a criminal as he thinks himself to be.

One of the most humorous Sherlock adventures.

Never knew that Holmes would break into someone's house.
