5 I'm team Dane 100% starsI have seen so many amazing reviews for this book, and when I was approached about reading it in exchange for my honest review I jumped right on it. Once I started it, I was hooked! S.E. Hall's writing style is fabulous. I couldn't get enough of it. Laney was a tomboy all her life, she played softball and was content to just be herself as long as she had her best friend Evan, life was just great for her. Until finally Evan started showing her he was into her as aI was lucky enough to win a signed copy from the author - and WOW. This book sucked me in, chewed me up, and spit me out in a matter of hours.Emerge is the story of Laney and Evan. Best friends since kids, are everything to each other, and can't imagine being apart. There seems to be mixed reviews on this one. Personally I really liked it. Yes the heroine in this story Laney seems to have beer flavoured nipples, Ok so she doesnt but she may as well. Typical tomboy girl who doesnt realise how hot she is until she gets to college. Everyone falls madly in love with her and likes her immediately.
