Chronicle Toward Books Misguided Angel (Blue Bloods #5)
After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the five remaining gates that guard the earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silver Bloods.Back in New York, Mimi has been elected Regent of a crumbling coven. Struggling with her heartache over the loss of Kingsley and with her overwhelming desire to destroy Jack, she must focus all of her energy on a perilous new threat. Vampires are being abducted and their captors are planning to burn them alive online...for all the world to see. Help arrives in the form of Deming Chen, a Venator from Shanghai, who must untangle the web of deceptions before the killers strike again.
As the young vampires struggle for the survival of the coven, they uncover a deadly secret, a truth first discovered by Schuyler’s mother during the Renaissance but kept buried for centuries. And as the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler to a terrible choice that will ultimately map the destiny of her heart.

I am glad I kept reading this series, it definitely gets better as it goes. This is a case of first book syndrome to the extreme. Book 5 doesn't even slightly resemble book 1. So if you want to read this series, don't judge it by the first book. It gets so much better later. This was a good arcing book (which if you have ever read her website that is rather her platform for writing -- lots of twists then summarizing/completing then sets forth new plot twists). With that said there were really 4 components of the novel (Sky&Jack, Mimi&Oliver, *insert new character*, then a "where they are at/doing")Sky and Jack - first have to escape then they set off on continuing Sky's legacy that was left behind from her gradfather. You see the love that her and Jack
Misguided Angel is the fifth book of the Blue Bloods Series. Instead of getting old it just keeps getting better..at least to me! This book in particular is told in 3 parts. There's Jack and Schuyler's story, which is about their lives on the run in Italy and trying to find one of the gates to the Underworld and finish Lawrence's mission. The second part is about Mimi and her status as Regent of The Conclave and how she tries to deal with some difficult obstacles thrown her way.And last but not

I don't know why I keep reading these books. I guess I keep assuming that each one will be the last, when each one really is just a set up for another sequel. Enough with series already! Not just this one, all of them! I would much rather read an 1,000-page novel than several shorter works. I had forgotten a lot since reading the last Blue Blood novel. There are so many ridiculous aspects of the Blue Blood society to keep track of. I felt lost most of the time. I also felt at times like I was
Sadly, i was debating with a 2? Don't get me wrong this book was amazing. Amazing.. but short, and short of my expectations. Let's rewind, shall we? (Don't worry no spoilers) We start of with Schuyler and Jack, YAY! i wanted to see what happens after the previous book. What an awful cliffhanger. ANYWAY, that was dangerous, intresting, sweet, romantic? I can't explain it, but that was the amazing part of the book. I think this book lacked some plot and talked more about connections, friendships,
This is where the FUN BEGINS!5 Stars for this book. As in F.I.V.E.! FIVE!!!I cant believe this myself, I never thought that this seriesll make me crave for more. It is this particular book that pumped all the existing adrenaline in me. I am so into this book right now and I must admit that Im drooling out for the next book!!! How long do I have to wait for the next one to come?!!!!!!!!!!********************SPOILEROVERLOAD*****************************Okay back to normal reviewThe story was
I've never liked the series very much, mainly because of those clothes digressions and useless descriptions, but the story wasn't so bad, so I kept reading. I thought the author was just showing off a bit and well, it's not like I know much about fashion, so it was a little annoying, but I could just skip that and give for granted she knew what she was talking about. Now, here's the fifth book, and where are we? Italy, my country, apparently the new trend. I knew from the beginning it would end
