What a conclusion! This series has quickly become one of my favorites, and possibly my favorite books about the fey. The Faerie War was a wonderfully detailed book, with amazing characters, tough choices, and a love that can survive anything. At the start of the book, I pretty much had no clue what was going on. I'd forgotten everything that happened in the ending of The Faerie Prince, so I went back to that to familiarize myself with where this novel started. And as with the first two books, II'm actually crying.Oh,man.This series.THIS SERIES.Emotional roller coaster, that's what this book is.It had everything I needed - romance, action, heart wrenching moments, bittersweet plot...and an epic ending.MORE PEOPLE NEED TO READ THIS SERIES.READ IT. Bloody marvelous! My nerves are shot, my nails are non-existent, but what a ride the fabulous Ms Morgan took me on!

I was a little nervous about reading this book, because the finales in the last few trilogies I've read have all disappointed me (cough cough, The Hunger Games, cough cough, Delirium). Thank goodness, The Faerie War bucked the trend and did the rest of the series justice. In the previous books, Violet was my favourite character, but Ryn stole the show for me in this one. All of my favourite moments were either when he was narrating or at least in the scene. I think my absolute favourite part was
this book is everything to me.this series is everything to me...i can not cope! I love Vi and Ryn! so so much <3 the magic, war and action in this was FANTASTIC!
This was a great story with wonderful tension and a great cast of characters--especially the new ones. As the conclusion of the trilogy, I loved how the story took us to new grounds, new environments, and greater conflicts. My only issue is that the reader is more in the know at the beginning of the book than the characters, and we just have to wait for them to catch up. That doesn't last for too long, but if you go in expecting that, you'll be prepared to enjoy a wonderful book.I found the
This was pretty good but I'm not a huge fan of the amnesia trope and while I do like Violet and Ryn's relationship I just spent the LAST book watching them fall in love so I really don't also need to spend this one watching them do the exact same thing only Violet has amnesia. Also I figured out who the spy was like right away so that wasn't terribly riveting. Still it was a good story and I do like this world.
